Engedd be a jót / Let the right one in

Múlt héten egy nem olyan jól sikerült nap végén nem volt kedvem semmihez, ezért úgy döntöttem, hogy kipróbálok valami újat. Még sosem voltam Dániában moziban, ezért legfőbb ideje volt már. Otthon nagy mozilátogató voltam, egyetemista koromban volt diákbérletem is, de itt annyi minden mással kell foglalkoznom, hogy arra már se időm, se pénzem nem jut, hogy a filmvilág legújabb terméseivel is lépést tartsak. Arról nem is beszélve, hogy ha nem tudom utána senkivel kibeszélni a látottakat, akkor nem is érdekel annyira a dolog.
Na, de múlt kedden felfedeztem magamnak a Biffen-t, Aalborg művészmoziját. Pici, meghitt hely, kis előtérrel, ahol az asztalokon gyertya ég, van kanapé és könyvespolc filmes könyvekkel és magazinokkal. Mint utóbb megtudtam, a személyzet önkéntesekből áll, gondolom, ezért is tudnak viszonylag olcsó jegyárakkal dolgozni. A jegyárus néni mindenesetre megalapozta a filmélményt azzal, hogy kedvesen mosolyogva jó szórakozást kívánt. A vetítőterem is kicsi, 46 fotelből áll, de kifogástalan a kényelem.
A film pedig, amit volt szerencsém megtekinteni, a "Låt den rätte komma in" (magyarul kb. Engedd be a jót) c. svéd gyerekfilm, horror vagy dráma. Egyik sem, de egy kicsit mindhárom.
Bevallom, nem szeretem a horrorfilmeket, mert egyfelől fáraszt a ketchup, másfelől nem szeretek egy horrorfilm után napokig szorongva hazamenni esténként. Meg unom kicsit a vámpírokat, elég sok bőrt lehúztak már róluk. Pedik ez a film is vámpíros, már a legelején kiderül, hogy a kislány főszereplő vámpír. De hogy hová is fut ki az egész történet, abban szinte végig bizonytalan az ember. Emellett nagyon szépen fényképezett a film, egy rideg, téli svéd lakótelep a helyszín, sok sötét külső jelenettel. Emiatt és a mondanivalója miatt is sokáig emlékezetes darab. Ha tehetitek, nézzétek meg!
Ha ezt már nem is, de más filmeket remélhetőleg megnézek majd még a Biffenben. És ha úgy adódik, hogy Aalborgban maradok, talán megkeresem őket, hogy nincs-e szükségük még egy önkéntesre, mert úgy érzem, nekem való hely és nekem való társaság lenne.

At the end of one day last week I didn't feel like doing anything, so I decided to try something new. I had never been to a cinema in Denmark before, so it was the highest time to try it. At home I had been a big fan of movies, I had a student season ticket to the art cinemas. But here I have no time and money to follow up with the latest movies and if I can't discuss them with anyone afterwards I'm not that interested, anyway.
But last Tuesday I discovered Biffen, the small art cinema in Aalborg. It's cozy with its tiny little hall which has candles on the tables, coach and book shelf with books and magazines in connection with movies. I found out afterwards that the staff consists of volunteers, probably it's one of the reasons why the tickets are relatively cheap. The lady who sold the tickets established my good mood by wishing a pleasant time with a smile. The projection room was also small with only 46 armchairs but it was really comfortable.
The movie I saw called "Låt den rätte komma in" (Let the right one in), a Swedish child movie, horror movie or drama - none of them, but all three of them a bit. I have to admit that I don't like horror movies because on one hand I'm tired of the ketchup and on the other hand I don't like being afraid for a couple of days after watching them. And I'm bored with the vampires, they have been pretty overused. This film operates with vampires, too, it turns out relatively quickly that one of the main characters, the girl is a vampire. But we don't know how the story would end up. Besides the mystic story it's a beautifully photographed movie, most of the scenes take place in a cold housing estate area in the Winter somewhere in Sweden. Unforgettable pictures, if you have the opportunity don't miss watching it!
Hopefully I will watch some other movies in Biffen. And if it happens that I stay in Aalborg, maybe I will contact with the staff and ask them if they need one more volunteer. I think it could be something for me.
